The Marrow NYC was establishes in 1995. Since its opening alone in August on the said year, this restaurant has already gaining many audience from different places. The food being served here might be one resposible to this scenario. Either way, this allowed the restaurant to expand in just 2 years. From a place that can seat more or less 70 people, now the restaurant can already accommodate 200 people without them feeling crowded. It even has already 5 function halls which could accommodate different group sizes. These are good in events like birthdays, weddings, and company gatherings.
The Marrow NYC was put into work by the Giuseppe family in loving memory of their matriarch Giusephina Giuseppe who passes away before she can even see the fruition of her dreams. Eventhough such unfortunate event happened, this still did not stop her family from fulfillng her dreams. In fact, they really worked hard for this to happen, some even working day and night just to save enough of a capital to make this restaurant a reality. They used the original recipes made by Giusephina which the latter collected from years of working as a restaurant crew in different places in Germany and Italy. The matriarch used the same recipes in always bringing the family together every once a week. She was very strict about family day, always allotting one day just so the family could have a get together.
This is why, it was also a family effort that made this dream happen for her. The family started small with just Romeo Giuseppe and her wife Gelina serving as cooks for the restaurant. Every family has a role to perform which keep them tightly together. Then later on, when the demand called for it, they started hiring more people in order to serve the growing customers.
